Can I submit more than one quote?
The free service reviews one quote per request. You may upload multiple files only when they are pages or screenshots of the same quote. A separate request can be made for another quote.
Do you use AI in the review?
AI-assisted tools may be used to help identify unclear wording and structure the note. The result is checked before it is sent, and no solely automated decision is made about you, the installer, or the quote.
Do you tell me which installer to choose?
No. The service does not rank or recommend installers. It helps you identify unclear document details and prepare questions before deciding.
Can you confirm whether the system is technically correct?
No. Technical design, electrical safety, structural suitability, regulatory compliance, financial suitability, and installation quality require the appropriate qualified professionals.
How quickly will I receive the result?
We normally send the free clarity check within one business day. Urgent contractual, deposit, cancellation, or cooling-off deadlines should not be delayed while waiting.

How your information is used
This notice applies to the Free Solar Quote Clarity Check. It is written for the information collected through the Tally form and the follow-up email process.
Who is responsible
Ile Volchevski trading as Solar Quote Guard is the data controller for this service. Contact: quotes@solarquoteguard.com.
What we collect
Your name, email address, broad UK region or postcode area, buying stage, selected concerns, optional comments, privacy-notice acknowledgement, and the solar quote files you upload.
Why we use it
To receive your request, review the quote, prepare and email the clarity note, answer related questions, record that the Privacy Notice was acknowledged, and protect the service from misuse.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to a Free Solar Quote Clarity Check request that you choose to submit, operating and securing the service, preventing misuse, and keeping a limited operational record. We have assessed these interests against your rights and interests.
Services that may process the information
- Tally is used to collect and store form submissions and uploaded files.
- Zoho Mail (EU data centre) is used for service correspondence at quotes@solarquoteguard.com.
- AI-assisted analysis tools may be used only after unnecessary identifiers are removed or minimised. If safe redaction cannot be established, the quote is reviewed manually without AI. The result is checked before it is sent, and no solely automated decision is made.
The service is operated from North Macedonia, so the information may be accessed there while the request is reviewed. Tally states that its form data is stored in Europe. The Zoho Mail account used for service correspondence is hosted in Zoho's EU data centre.
How long we keep it
We aim to delete active submissions, uploaded files, and related operational emails within approximately 60 days after the clarity note is sent, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing reply, security issue, complaint, or legal obligation. Deleted Tally data may remain in backups for up to 90 days.
Your choices and rights
To exercise your data protection rights or make a privacy complaint, email quotes@solarquoteguard.com. You may ask for access, correction, deletion, or restriction. You may also raise a data-protection complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Your right to object
Because this service relies on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to this processing at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation. Email quotes@solarquoteguard.com. If you object, we will stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds to continue or the processing is needed for legal claims.
Important limits
Do not upload information that is not needed for the check. Cover or remove your full home address, signature, bank details, identity documents, medical information, and other sensitive personal data. We do not sell personal data, use quote submissions for advertising, sell installation leads, or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
